That’s total BS. Everyone knows that the first Thanksgiving was on the 4th Thursday in November 1621, when the Pilgrims ate green bean casserole (brought by the native Americans), and sweet potatoes with marshmallows, right after the Lions lost to the Cowboys.

If it’s October 8th in Canada, maybe we should tier it based on latitude to ensure proper weather. The Northeast and Upper Midwest get it in early Nov, the South, Southwest, and entire West Coast can keep it where it is, then Florida can just sit around and smoke meth at Christmas, which is already a tradition there, so it’s less work for everyone.
